Minimizing biases in your interview process takes time and effort but there are a few things you can start doing TODAY to make your processes more inclusive and equitable for your candidates.

So, come on over. Grab your coffee, tea, or water, and let’s go over 5 small (but mighty!) steps you can take to improve your Inclusive Hiring Processes:

Writing extremely long (and boring!) job descriptions.

Use your JDs to engage with your candidates. Let them know what they’ll gain by joining you and your team.

Asking candidates to submit cover letters.

I might need to write a book on how cover letters are un-inclusive and make your process in-equitable but let’s keep this short today.
