Managing teams isn’t always easy… and hosting meetings when you already have a full day of back-to-back calls? That’s tricky!

So, let me help you out a bit and share my 15 favorite inclusive meeting tips. And the great part is you can actually start implementing all these ideas right now!

These tips are so easy to implement that I’d love to hear from you: What’s the one thing on this list you’ll start using today?

  • Use descriptive calendar invite subjects like “Update on this year’s budget” or “Just a quick catch-up (don’t worry, it’s great news!).”
  • Add a meeting description to the calendar invite.
  • If anything needs to be read or prepared ahead of time, let your team know in advance.
  • Always send a quick recap note about what was discussed during the conversation.
  • If more than 2 people are invited, rotate the note-taking responsibilities among your team.
