Immigrants Heritage Month: Here’s How to Be a Better (and More Informed!) Ally

Listen, I’m an Immigrant in the United States, and I didn’t even know Immigrants Heritage Month was a thing! So, I’m just going to go ahead and assume that maybe y’all didn’t know about it either and share a few actionable tips to become a better and more informed ally.

Before we get to the actionable tips and ideas, please keep in mind that everyone’s immigration journey is different. There are different types of visas, and each and every single one of them has limitations, very specific guidelines, and requirements.

The ideas, tips, and suggestions I’m sharing with you today are applicable to many different work visas, but still, you should be extra mindful and intentional before jumping into action! Visas, Immigration, and application processes are tricky, so always check in with your Immigrant friend first.
