I’ve heard these questions more times than I can count, unfortunately. Even last night, I was just doom-scrolling over on Fishbowl and saw this same question pop up multiple times.

… And what was even more interesting than the question itself, were the answers! Someone even said that companies must have KPIs and bonuses based on the applications they receive!

And I just… sighed.

It breaks my heart when job seekers don’t really know what usually happens “on the other side” and are left to their own devices, without useful and meaningful information to support them in their job-hunting process. So, let’s go over these questions together. Shall we?

Why don’t Recruiters share the salary band in the job post?

It’s truly not their decision, unfortunately!
Believe me; it’d be easier for everyone if we both knew what the job offers and what the candidates are looking for.
